The majority of children don't like potty training no matter what you do. As you already know, some children are easier to train than others. Of course that is true because there are no two people exactly the same.
Some children take better to "bribes" such as getting a lollipop or having their toilet placed a few feet from the television to help them relax and become more comfortable while learning to potty. Both methods work, it just depends on what your child is more attracted to.
Learning how to potty train your toddler can be very challenging. Think about something that would soothe you to make you feel more comfortable while using the bathroom. I put all these equations into the formula and therefore came up with the perfect solution. Music is what made potty training super easy for me. I thought about what calms or soothes a child. Children sleep better with soft sweet lullaby because it is soothing. With that being said, singalongs are for singing along and when you put potty training and singalongs together, you get a toddler using the potty without even recognizing that he/she just did!
Some potty's come with music built-in. Every time a child uses it, there is music or it lights up which is very pleasing to the ear and eye of a young child. There is an on and off switch which allows you to turn the sound off to preserve the battery life when it is not in use. If you buy a potty that does not come with music, you can always use a CD player and play children's music which is easy for them to engage in.
Children's music can be bought for a small price at your local Wal-Mart. You will see a big difference in your child's potty training habit with the use of music. With something to look forward to, it makes them more eager to want to go and potty. Sure potty training is made easy with music. However, now it's now not just easy it's fun. Showing interest in helping your child to learn, also helps to make the learning process easy for them. With your participation and support, just like in anything else, your toddler is more likely to succeed much faster.
Now, I will tell you exactly why playing music when potty training will work. At first a child is scared to try new things. They have become use to wearing diapers to use the bathroom. They are then introduced to the potty which is new and scary to a child. When trying something new for the first time you want to feel comfortable and be relaxed. Music does exactly that. When the music is there for them to sing along with, they are totally engaged in the music and have forgotten all about using the potty. By your child becoming relaxed, it made it easy for them to potty. You can't fail with a little bit of children's music.
So now that you know how to potty train your toddler, you can set the challenging part aside and focus on the easy, which is just how potty training is described with the use of music.
