Have you ever wondered how it is performed, and there is no end?

Well, it all started in 1830 by British chemist and physicist named Michael Faraday. Inventor, Faraday was known for his discovery of electromagnetic induction and the laws of electrolysis. He did not know that one day would be the dependence of the world that it is. I'm sure he does not realize that the world's resources would be exhausted quickly to do both!

In the simplest form of power is with a magnet, wire, andBikes! If a wheel magnet around a conductor (wire) ? generated electricity. If we combine a magnet, a wire and turning, an electric generator.

How electricity is produced, has developed over the years, people have to travel different paths, and create the motion needed to generators that produce electricity again developed. Most of them have left connected to the use of our natural resources, to drive turbines. For example, coal and natural gas toWater to heat, which in turn creates steam to drive turbines, generators drive.

We also used natural water flows to regulate dams in place and direct the flow through the turbines, generators drive. Once built, this method is very cost effective and environmentally effective, because there is no coal or natural gas is sold for this process. One problem, though ?. There are only so many rivers!

Then one day we found ? Gee, the wind blows all the timeKansas as a whole .. Why do not we put an engine on a generator? Wah-Lah .. The wind generator is born, is an inexhaustible source of energy, or "renewable energy"!

Then we have "nuclear" discovered in a nuclear power plant, a reactor contains a core of enriched uranium. When atoms of uranium fuel by neutrons they fission or split, bombed the emission of heat and more neutrons. The heat generated is used to bring water into steam that drives a turbine, which in turn generatesElectricity.

Then there is geothermal energy, another source of renewable energy. This is used when the heat energy buried beneath the earth's surface, is used for underground water into steam, which drive the turbines of a generator to produce electricity heat.

Solar energy uses the energy of the sun. However, the solar energy is not always available in all parts of the world. Solar energy is also historically more expensive than usingconventional fossil fuels. Photovoltaic conversion generates electricity directly from sunlight in a photovoltaic (solar) cell. Solar thermal electric generators use the radiant energy of sunlight to generate steam to drive turbines.

Biomass substitutes for traditional fossil fuels with wood waste and agricultural waste such as corn cobs and straw. Biomass replaces fossil fuels in a boiler. Will it be burnt, produces steam, which it is used in conventional steam-electricPower generation.

The problem is not how to make electricity to the conclusion, is one of implementation. We have many options to eliminate the depletion of fossil fuels ? We just did not act on them. The current 'Renewable Energy' product represents only a small percentage of our needs. We must eliminate the use of fossil fuels to generate electricity. We need to convert to renewable energy.

For my part, I do not wait for someone make the decisionfor me. I do not live in an area where the wind could support the operation of a wind turbine, but I live in an area where the sun shines! Solar energy is my choice, and when the sun is not shining, I can on solar energy in my backup battery leave saved.

One day when the children ask: "How to make electricity?" What will you answer?
